Who We Are
Professional Yacht Delivery was founded by a group of experienced skippers that crossed paths in their travels and developed a keen respect for the skills and experience of each other. After sailing together and recommending each other, we decided to formally promote our superior services together.

Captain Larry Byers
USCG 100T Masters with Sailing Endorsement
Larry has lived on or near the water all his life and has enjoyed all things related. He has sailed with his wife all around Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands before deciding to make sailing their life. Larry retired in 2009, after selling virtually everything, to go cruising. In August of that year Larry and his wife sailed out the Strait of Juan de Fuca and turned left. Over the next five years they enjoyed sailing Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, Bahamas, the Inter-coastal waterway, and the east coast of the United States to New York City. He has since made many ocean passages and even managed a charter fleet in Seattle, Washington.
Prior to cruising the worlds oceans, Larry had a successful career in the biomedical world with positions ranging from Emergency Room supervisor for the United States Air Force to Director of Technical Systems for Puget Sound Kidney Centers. He is also very mechanical and able to troubleshoot systems from desalinators to alternators. His strong mechanical skills are matched by his medical knowledge.
Larry is also an accomplished, professional musician having played in gigs from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to Bothell, Washington.
